I’m an international researcher who specializes in evaluating and improving decision making, strategy, plans and projects from both a cognitive and behavioral perspective. I’m currently researching how to effectively integrate human expertise and experience into cognitive computing for business applications.

My work originally focused extensively on health and moved across to organisational change, and most recently the capture of tacit knowledge for use in AI and cognitive computing. I’m fortunate enough to be have been funded by organisations such as the NHS, Public Health (UK) and to work with companies from around the world including the organisational change consultancy sector and the technology sector.

Having evaluated so many projects, strategies and decisions, this blog is a consolidation of what I have learned through my research and evaluation work. Not just methodological stuff, but how people make sense of the world and use their experience, especially when faced with change.
